Sri Lanka v Ireland Super Eights

Sri Lanka after beating Pakistan by 19 runs in their first Super Eights game will eye a big win over Ireland to secure their Semi Final berth in ICC World twenty20.

Sri Lanka who started the tournament with not in the favourite list to win the tournament is now one of the favourite to lift the twenty20 Cup with their consistent performance. Their top order is firing all cylinders and their bowling also looks solid and have variety to test any batting lineup.

The major worry of concern is their middle order which sustained a horrid collapse of 5 for 40 in the last six overs in the game against Pakistan.

Ireland having tag of Associates team is already beaten a test nation in the tournament but after that they have beaten comprehensively by New Zealand and Sri Lanka have to do in same manner as New Zealand did against Ireland to lift their Net Run Rate.

Ireland hopes will rely on the shoulder of O.Briend brothers and all-rounder T.Johnson. It will be interesting to see how Ireland tackles M’s (Murali, Mendis, Malinga and Mathews) bowling.
Likely Playing XI for both teams (Match is schedule to begin at 18:00 PM India Time on 14th Of June)
